Luckily we arrived the day before. Arrival at the parking lot in complete darkness, 5.30 am. -13° C, alone, dark, walk through the snow to the Creux du Van. Starry sky, a dream... even colder... Arrival at the spot at nautical twilight at 7.00 am. Set up, get cold, do gymnastic exercises to warm your fingers. Sunrise finally at 08.30 am.
